Jobgether is seeking a proactive Transport Procurement Manager to strengthen a growing logistics and procurement team in the Netherlands. You will manage transport requests, source carrier partners, and secure competitive freight solutions for customers, acting as the link between the carrier network and client requirements.

This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in a technology-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of professional experience in freight forwarding, transport coordination, freight procurement, or a comparable role.
• Solid understanding of transport operations, carrier management, freight purchasing, and logistics processes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with partners and customers.
• Good numerical and commercial understanding, including calculating transport prices and margins.
• Proficient with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Open to adopting new software, digital solutions, AI-powered tools, and automation technologies.
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
• Good working knowledge of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Reliable, proactive, responsible, with strong ownership and clear communication.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work both independently and with the team.

Aufgaben

• Manage incoming transport requests and identify suitable transport solutions.
• Source capacity by requesting and evaluating quotations from carrier partners.
• Negotiate freight rates and select providers based on route, lead time, and service.
• Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely responses to customers.
• Calculate selling prices and assess costs and margins for transport offers.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and ensure data quality.
• Monitor carrier performance and provide feedback for improvements.
• Build and maintain relationships with transport providers for reliable capacity.
• Identify recurring challenges and help develop standardized workflows.
• Contribute to process optimization, digitalization, and automation initiatives.
