Job summary

Road is seeking an FP&A and Control Intern to gain hands‑on experience in finance at a fast‑growing, international technology company in Amsterdam. You will support month‑end closing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process improvements, using NetSuite, Excel, and data analysis, while working with a collaborative Finance team.

You may own an independent improvement project and present your recommendations to the team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support month‑end closing activities and reporting.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Review financial data and identify discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare analyses and translate data into actionable insights.
• Gain hands‑on experience with NetSuite and financial systems.
• Analyse and document current processes for improvement and automation.
• Lead an independent improvement project and present findings to the team.
