Job summary

Road is seeking an analytical FP&A & Control Intern to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing international technology company. You will support financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting while learning how financial controls ensure accurate reporting.

Join a team shaping automation and AI-driven processes in a global EV charging business. The role includes a practical project, exposure to NetSuite, and a collaborative finance function at our Amsterdam headquarters.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Available 32-40 hours per week for 4-6 months starting February 2027.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
• Proficient in Excel with strong analytical capabilities.
• Curious, proactive and hands-on mindset with initiative.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Assist with reviewing financial data and internal controls.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare reports and analyses to identify trends.
• Gain hands-on experience with NetSuite and finance systems.
• Analyze and document processes, exploring automation opportunities.
• Lead an independent finance improvement project and present findings.
