Zusammenfassung

Road is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Intern to join our Finance team in Amsterdam, starting February 2027. You’ll assist with accounts payable, financial administration in NetSuite, and payment processing while learning how automation and AI can streamline processes.

You’ll work 32–40 hours per week for 6 months, supporting the AP specialist, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing software company.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Control, Accounting, Business Economics, or related field; must remain enrolled during internship.
• Available to start January/February 2027, 32–40 hours per week for 6 months.
• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits/credits, VAT and AP processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify discrepancies and resolve.
• Excellent attention to detail with a structured approach to repetitive tasks.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; interest in learning new financial systems; NetSuite, Yooz or ERP experience a plus.
• Curious, proactive mindset with initiative and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent English communication; Dutch a plus.

Aufgaben

• Accounts Payable: processing supplier invoices in Yooz with correct VAT and GL coding.
• Financial Administration: maintain accurate records in NetSuite; identify discrepancies.
• Payment Processing: prepare weekly supplier payment batches and support approvals.
• Direct Debit Management: prepare and reconcile customer direct debit batches.
• Supplier Communication: manage AP inbox and respond to inquiries.
• Reconciliations & Month-End Closing: supplier statement reconciliations and accruals.
• Process Improvement: document workflows and identify efficiency gains.
• Automation & AI: explore Excel/Sheets and AI tools to automate tasks.
