Job summary

Booking.com is offering a Finance internship in Amsterdam focused on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). You will learn forecasting, business partnering and modern FP&A tools, touching dashboards, reporting, and ad‑hoc analyses in a fast-paced, multicultural finance team.

The internship supports February 2027 start, spans 6 months (32–40 hrs/week), and may include graduation thesis collaboration. Strong Excel skills and an interest in AI tooling are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Masters or Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
• Analytical mindset with a desire to enable data-driven decisions.
• Affinity with technology and AI tooling preferred.
• Proactive team player who can work independently in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, modelling, data mining; experience with Anaplan/Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Create scalable dashboards and reporting on key financial metrics.
• Partner with finance/accounting during month-end close to report results with variance commentary.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and benchmarking for projects.
• Contribute to FP&A transformation, reporting improvements, and tooling.
• Co-create digital reports and forecasting tools (e.g., Anaplan) and ML models.
