Job summary

DataSnipper is seeking a Business Control Intern to join our Finance team in Amsterdam. You will work closely with the Business Controller, handling monthly reporting on financial performance and preparing board decks for management.

This hands-on role includes automating manual steps with AI to rethink how Finance works. You are a Master’s student in Finance or Accounting, comfortable with Excel, and eager to build reliable models and reports.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s in Finance or Accounting with a strong academic record.
• Comfortable in Excel and building reliable models and reports.
• AI-forward: already using AI tools to speed up data pulls and reporting; seeks automation.
• Detail-oriented and organized; double-check numbers before leadership.
• Curious about SaaS business and how it works.

Responsibilities

• Monitor business performance and report on key financial and operational metrics (ARR growth).
• Perform variance analysis between forecasts and actuals and explain gaps.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting, including the board deck for the management team.
• Help gather inputs for forecasts ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate on projects that drive growth, profitability and operational excellence.
• Streamline and automate processes using AI tools.
