Job summary

EMEA Recruitment is supporting an international manufacturing organization in Amsterdam to fill an FP&A Analyst role on an initial 4-6 month assignment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on FP&A experience, be proactive, and quickly take ownership of day-to-day financial analysis and reporting.

The assignment requires ~3 years of finance experience within manufacturing, strong reporting skills, and the ability to work with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

EMEA Recruitment is supporting an international manufacturing organization in its search for an FP&A Analyst to join its Amsterdam team on an initial 4-6 month assignment.

This is an urgent opportunity for a finance professional with previous FP&A experience who is comfortable supporting day-to-day financial analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, proactive and able to learn quickly, taking responsibility for their work with minimal onboarding.

Key responsibilities of the Interim FP&A Analyst:

• Support day-to-day FP&A activities, including financial analysis and reporting
• Prepare and review financial reports to support business decision-making
• Support inventory analysis and reporting
• Assist with budgeting and year-end activities
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances
• Work closely with the wider finance team and relevant stakeholders
• Ensure financial information is accurate and reporting deadlines are met
• Quickly learn existing processes and systems, providing practical support where required

Candidate profile:

• Approximately 3 years' finance experience, including previous FP&A experience
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
• Good financial reporting and analytical skills
• Exposure to inventory analysis and reporting
• Comfortable working hands-on and managing day-to-day responsibilities
• Quick learner with a practical and pragmatic approach
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited onboarding
• Good communication skills and comfortable working with international stakeholders
• Previous Anaplan experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Must already have the relevant right-to-work/permits for the Netherland

The assignment is expected to run for an initial 4-6 months, with an immediate start preferred.

There is flexibility around working arrangements. English language skills are required.
