Job summary

Advidi is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join the Commercial Control and FP&A team in the Netherlands. You will drive management reporting, financial modeling, and analysis to enable better commercial decisions and scale FP&A processes across the business.

You will partner with finance and data teams, build robust financial models, and perform variance and scenario analyses to support leadership. The role emphasizes data-driven insights, collaboration, and a strong commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (MBA/Finance/Economics).
• 5+ years experience in FP&A or Controlling.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build dynamic models.
• Familiarity with Looker or similar data tools.
• Strong communication and a commercial mindset with collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English and currently residing in the Netherlands.

At Advidi, every financial and commercial decision runs on data. Our business is growing, and so are our needs for excellent professionals. As the FP&A team grows, we're looking for a talented FP&A analyst to help drive that growth with us.

As a FP&A Analyst, you will join the Commercial Control and FP&A team. You will be a critical part of a proactive team, which is growing hand in hand with the business. You will participate in providing management reporting, financial modeling and analysis that enables Advidi's management to make better commercial decisions. Reporting to the Commercial Control Team Lead, you will bring your experience to help ensure the business operates with healthy volumes and profit margins and to be a key part of implementing and scaling FP&A related processes. This is a new role in the context of Advidi that brings together teams that previously worked in data and finance in separate teams. You will be a key player in helping streamline and scale the new team setting.

Responsibilities:

Reporting and Forecasting:

• Reporting end of month, quarter, year business performance based on reported financials to leadership and board through the management reporting deck.
• Support budgeting process and quarterly financial estimates.
• Build, maintain, and improve dynamic financial models that translate business strategy into numbers.
• Perform scenario modeling to prepare for uncertainty and assess the financial impact of strategic changes.
• Ensure adequacy of financial data, including thorough quality control of reports, reconciliation and appropriate checks throughout all tasks.

Performance Tracking & Analysis:

• Conduct detailed variance analysis, explaining the drivers behind differences between actual financial performance and the budget or forecast.
• Analyze campaign data (ARPU, margins, volume) to find optimization opportunities.
• Become an expert in our data in order to provide the best recommendations to stakeholders across the business.

Business Partnering & Strategic Support:

• Act as a communicative bridge within the Finance and Data departments and across other teams, delivering and explaining financial insights clearly and actionably.
• Provide commercial finance support to leadership on strategic changes.

Process Improvement:

• Have a clear picture of finance related processes which can be brought onto our team, help set them up and scale them.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in reporting and planning cycles.
• Support small-scale projects aimed at enhancing tools, reporting quality, and data hygiene.

Required skills:

• You hold a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years experience in FP&A, Controlling or similar.
• You have a highly analytical and financially knowledgeable mindset, comfortable interpreting numbers, patterns, and performance metrics.
• You are an advanced user of Excel, capable of creating dynamic financial models.
• You have familiarity with reporting and data tools such as Looker.
• You are a strong communicator who can simplify complex financial data, build trust and easily collaborate with others.
• You possess a strong commercial mindset with a keen eye for both detail and opportunities.
• You are a team player who values collaboration but is equally capable of working independently.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and is fluent in English.
• You are currently residing in the Netherlands.
