Job summary

Artefact Benelux in Utrecht is seeking an ambitious Forward Deployed Engineer to advance data platform and AI/LLM applications. You will build production data pipelines and design end-to-end data platforms, while collaborating with clients to implement scalable, robust solutions.

You’ll work on Python and SQL, focusing on production-quality code, with exposure to dbt, Spark, Airflow and LangChain. The role requires strong communication and a proactive, curious mindset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in Data or AI engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL with production-quality code.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT principles or LLM orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines using dbt, Spark, or Airflow.
• Architect end-to-end data platforms with robust data models.
• Design and deploy LLM-based solutions and AI workflows.
• Work directly with clients to translate business needs into production-ready technical solutions.
