• Experience with modern data technologies such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, SQL, DBT, Airflow, Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Docker.
• Ability to design scalable systems and evaluate architectural trade-offs effectively.
• Strong capability to troubleshoot complex data challenges and provide sustainable solutions.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Takes responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions with a long-term perspective.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and continuously improve skills.
• Fluent Dutch is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data architectures such as data lakehouses and warehouses.
• Create robust ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration and transformation needs.
• Build both batch and real-time (streaming) data processing systems.
• Develop and manage integrations between distributed systems and data sources.
• Apply best practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance of data solutions.
• Utilise CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to enhance delivery efficiency and reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve data engineering practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and improve existing implementations for scalability and maintainability.
