Job summary

Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American’s Café Americain is seeking a proactive Food Runner to support a smooth dining operation. You will deliver dishes promptly, help set up and clear tables, and assist in maintaining an inviting dining room during busy service periods.

We value fluency in English or Dutch, physical fitness, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Part-time hours include weekends and evenings, with Dalata Academy growth opportunities and staff perks across the Dalata group.

Qualifications

• Comfortable on your feet and physically active.
• Friendly, professional, and presentable with good communication.
• Fluent in English or Dutch; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dishes promptly and accurately.
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables; maintain a clean, inviting dining room.
• Support front-of-house by anticipating guest and colleague needs and keeping service flowing.
• Assist with conference room setups or special events when required.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures and uphold high standards of cleanliness.
