Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group’s Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American is seeking a Food Runner for Café Americain. Join a lively, Art Deco setting on Leidseplein and help deliver dishes swiftly, accurately and with warmth.

You’ll set up and clear tables, maintain a clean dining room, and support the front-of-house team during lunch and dinner rushes. Fluency in English or Dutch, a can-do attitude, and 1+ year service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Energetic and attentive Food Runner with a focus on prompt, accurate service.
• Ability to work on feet for long shifts in a busy restaurant.
• Fluent in English or Dutch; additional languages a bonus.
• 1+ year experience in service preferred.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dishes promptly and accurately.
• Set up and clear tables; maintain clean dining area.
• Clear and reset tables; support during peak hours.
• Assist with conference room setups or events.
• Maintain hygiene and safety compliance.
• Team player; proactively assist colleagues.
