Job summary

Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American invites a charismatic part-time Waiter to Bar Americain, a renowned venue on Leidseplein. You will deliver warm, professional service across relaxed afternoon and lively evening shifts, recommending beverages and ensuring guests have memorable experiences.

Requirements include at least 1 year in hospitality, fluency in English (Dutch a plus), and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Join a vibrant team at one of Amsterdam’s iconic hotels.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a bar, lounge, or high-end hospitality setting.
• Fluent in English; Dutch a plus.
• Friendly, professional, and well-presented with strong communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and able to multitask during busy service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Know the beverage menu inside out, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
• Greet guests warmly and maintain a welcoming bar area.
• Take drink orders accurately and upsell premium options.
• Deliver beverages promptly with accurate and flawless service.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth service.
