Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food Runner for Café Americain at Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American. You will support front-of-house by delivering dishes promptly, preparing mise en place, and keeping tables and spaces clean for a smooth dining experience.

We value energetic, guest-focused individuals who communicate well in English or Dutch, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to busy service periods. Weekend and holiday availability is required in this role.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional and presentable communication with guests and teammates.
• Fluent in English or Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
• Calm under pressure and able to multitask during peak service.
• Eager to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dishes promptly and accurately to tables.
• Set up and clear tables, maintain a clean dining area.
• Assist on the floor during service and support events when needed.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
