With its new design, brand‑new lobby and renovated guestrooms, Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center has created a space where travelers and locals alike can work, meet and relax. At Sheraton Amsterdam Airport we offer a diverse selection of food and beverages in our three unique dining outlets – the Commune restaurant, Stripes restaurant and The Gate bar. Besides our dining outlets, we offer 24/7 room service and a conference center featuring 32 event rooms of various sizes. Many opportunities to learn. We are seeking for a passionate F&B trainee to join our dynamic team.

F&B Attendant main responsibilities:

• You are responsible for taking of orders, food and beverages.
• Up‑selling all menu items to maximize food & beverage revenue.
• Maintain an excellent guest service, and inspire the team to do the same.
• Consistent achievement of the service standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant and service area.
• We are one big team, helping out others is a must – 'Teamwork Makes The Dream Work'
• You follow all the safety and security policies and procedures of the company.
• Process all different payment methods
• Complete opening and/or closing duties.

Key personality traits and skills:

• You have a kind knowledge of all F&B standards, service, and products. You’re able to demonstrate hygiene codes correctly and are able to show safe use of all materials/equipment.
• You are a master in multitasking and are eager to learn.
• You are proactive, willing to learn and control over strong communication skills.
• You’re fluent in English, Dutch and/or any other language is appreciated.

The Sheraton hotel at Schiphol exists since 1997 and underwent a major renovation in 2021 of all the 417 rooms and public spaces.
