Job summary

Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center zoekt een enthousiaste bartender voor ons hotel aan Schiphol. Je bereidt diverse dranken, denkt mee over een uniek belevingaanbod en werkt nauw samen met het team om gasten een memorabele ervaring te geven.

Je bent vloeiend in Engels en Nederlands, flexibel inzetbaar in avonden/weekenden en hebt bij voorkeur bartending ervaring en cocktailkennis. Wij bieden training, doorgroeimogelijkheden en hotelvoordelen.

Qualifications

• Je beheerst Engels.
• Bartending-ervaring heeft de voorkeur en cocktailkennis.
• Flexibel inzetbaar in avonden, weekenden en feestdagen.

Responsibilities

• Dranken bereiden voor gasten met meetinstrumenten.
• Assisteren bij het opzetten van een uniek drankaanbod.
• Teamwork is essentieel en je ondersteunt collega’s.
• Zorgen dat de bar er altijd netjes en gereed uitziet.
• Garnituur vers bereiden voor drankjes.
• Volg alle veiligheids- en bedrijfsvoorschriften.
• Verwerken van verschillende betaalmethoden.
• Uiteraard afsluitende taken voltooien.

Mixing with a touch of love:

Being a Bartender isn't only about mixing drinks, the memorable and unique experience that we provide to our guest is just as important. It isn't only about making exquisite drinks, the role of a mixologist goes beyond the bar.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for the guest, using measuring systems.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with creating an unique beverage offering.
• We are one big team, helping out others is a must - 'Teamwork Makes The Dream Work'
• Your bar looks always flawless, and is ready for action.
• Prepare fresh garnish for the drinks.
• You follow all the safety and security policies and procedures of the company.
• Process all different payment methods.
• Complete closing duties.

Key personality traits:

• You're very passionate about beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic
• You are creative with new trends and demands
• Friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• You're fluent in English, Dutch and/or any other language is appreciated.
• You are flexible; available evenings, weekends and on holidays.
• Bartending experience is preferable with sound cocktail knowledge
