Job summary

EKK Eagle Industry in the Netherlands seeks a Financial Accountant to combine operational accounting with reporting, controls, and process optimization. You will ensure complete, accurate financial administration and contribute to reliable reporting.

Responsibilities include general ledger processing, month-end closings, intercompany invoicing, VAT declarations, and managing fixed assets, with SAP and Power BI proficiency emphasized.

Qualifications

• Completed financial education (MBO+/Bachelor's degree level) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance & Control, or related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in a finance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of financial administration, month-end closings, and reporting.
• Experience with SAP and strong Excel skills.
• A proactive, accurate, and structured working style.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate within and outside Finance.

Responsibilities

• Processing and reviewing financial transactions (General Ledger).
• Executing weekly domestic and international payments.
• Managing and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Supporting internal and external audits.
• Preparing intercompany invoices.
• Managing financial data in Power BI.
• Reconciling intercompany balances and transactions.
• Managing fixed assets.
• Preparing VAT, ICP, and CBS declarations.
• Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable positions.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in administrative processes.
• Acting as a backup for the Controller and Financial Controller.
