Job summary

Bruker seeks a Service Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Service team. You will install FT-IR, FT-NIR, and Raman systems at customer sites, perform repairs, and train customers in operation and calibration modeling. You will act as the main link between customers and Bruker, ensuring high satisfaction and smooth service delivery.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of analytical instrumentation, excellent communication, and willingness to travel up to 80% to support customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 4–5 years diagnosing and repairing analytical instruments or scientific instruments.
• Strong technical expertise in analytical instrumentation.
• Dutch and English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Install FT-IR, FT-NIR, Raman systems at customer sites per specifications.
• Perform repair and maintenance activities at customer locations.
• Train customers in operation of equipment, software usage, and calibration modeling.
• Obtain customer acceptance and sign-off for installations and repairs.
• Act as communication link between customer and Bruker to ensure satisfaction.
• Carry out preventive maintenance at customer sites per service contracts.
• Maintain contact with customers to identify service needs and opportunities.
• Address and resolve inquiries related to products and services.
• Maintain documentation of field service activities, products sold, and services provided.
• Support networking of analytical instruments and integration into LIS.
