Job summary

Emerson Netherlands is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive growth in the industrial automation portfolio. You will engage existing customers to promote products and services, identify new opportunities, and negotiate contracts while collaborating with a regional sales team across the Netherlands.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of sales experience in industrial automation, fluent Dutch and English, and a proven ability to develop customer relationships and close deals.

Qualifications

• Engineering bachelor degree or comparable technical education.
• 3+ years sales experience in Industrial and Factory Automation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Identify market requirements and develop growth strategies for orders and profitability in the Netherlands.
• Direct and coordinate activities to promote sales of products and solutions in the area.
• Visit existing customers to promote product lines, portfolio, and services.
• Seek new opportunities to sell to new customers and industries.
• Negotiate business contracts including discounts, prices, and volumes.
• Drive sales supporting organization and manage project opportunities.
