Job summary

Maersk is seeking a proactive FCL/LCL Operations Associate for the Benelux region, based in Amsterdam. You will manage end-to-end shipment processes, monitor orders, and serve as the main customer contact by email, phone or chat, ensuring swift responses and top service levels.

You will engage with customers to improve supply chains, handle transport and customs documentation, and explore out-of-the-box solutions while maintaining strong relations and commercial focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and logistics, especially Ocean business.
• Incoterms familiarity.
• Strong customer-focused mindset and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end shipment process for import/export.
• Monitor outgoing/incoming Ocean transport orders for assigned customers.
• Be the first point of contact for customers via email/phone/chat.
• Build strong relationships and go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.
• Prepare transport and customs documents.
• Identify innovative ways to improve the supply chain.
