Job summary

Maersk is seeking an FCL and LCL Operations Associate - Benelux to ensure smooth end-to-end shipment processing, for both imports and exports. You will monitor ocean transport orders and respond to customer inquiries by email, phone or chat.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, build strong relationships, prepare transport and customs documents, and explore out-of-the-box solutions to improve supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate and provide information to customers to ensure end-to-end transparency.
• Handle end-to-end shipment processes for FCL and LCL in the Benelux region (import/export).
• Monitor outgoing and incoming ocean transport orders and respond to customer requests via email, phone or chat.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, building strong relationships.
• Prepare transport and customs documents.
• Find out-of-the-box solutions to improve customer supply chains.
• Responsible for the financial handling of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Within shipping and logistics pro-active communication and information flow towards our customers is the key in ensuring transparency end-to-end.

• As our FCL and LCL Operations Associate - Benelux, you will be responsible for a smooth end to end shipment process, both import and export.


• You will monitor all outgoing and incoming Ocean transport orders for your assigned customers, answering customer requests via email, by phone or chat.


• Be the first point of contact for our customers which makes you the face (or voice) of the company.


• You like to go the extra mile to make our customers happy and build strong relationship with them.


• Preparation of transport and customs documents.


• Finding out-of-the box solutions that improve the supply chain of your customers.


• Financial handling of shipments.
