Job summary

NORMAL A/S is expanding its store network in the Netherlands and seeks a dedicated Facility Manager to lead local facility operations in Utrecht.

You will build supplier networks, oversee maintenance, safety and compliance, and collaborate with our Danish headquarters to ensure a seamless retail experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facility Coordinator or Facility Manager in retail, FMCG (GDO), or construction industry.
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts with external suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management across functions and countries.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and quick decision making.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication, written and spoken.

As we continue to expand in Southern and Central Europe, we are looking for our first local Facility Manager to support our growing store network in The Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to join us at an exciting stage of growth and play a key role in building and managing our facility operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and manage a strong local network of facility suppliers, including contract negotiation and vendor selection to ensure high service quality and cost efficiency
• Oversee all facility operations across stores (maintenance, health & safety, cleaning, etc.), ensuring compliance with local regulations and documentation requirements
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance activities and technical interventions, ensuring timely resolution of issues reported by Store Managers
• Collaborate closely with the Establishment and Maintenance teams at our Danish headquarters

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Facility Coordinator or Facility Manager within retail, FMCG (GDO), or a construction environment
• Experience in negotiating and managing contracts with external suppliers
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and countries
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make quick, effective decisions
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and spoken)
