Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Facility Coordinator for a new logistics site near Breda. In this role, you'll ensure the site runs smoothly by coordinating maintenance, managing suppliers, and improving overall operations.

Facility Coordinator / Maintenance Coordinator - new site near Breda

As Facility Coordinator, you’ll be the person keeping the site safe, reliable and running smoothly — coordinating maintenance, suppliers, building services and improvement actions from day one.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinate daily and planned maintenance to ensure work is completed accurately, safely and on time
• Partner with approved vendors to maintain warehouse equipment and building systems to a high standard
• Track performance against agreed targets, analyse results and follow up on corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records and produce required reports (e.g., maintenance logs, vendor documentation and compliance records)
• Deliver excellent service to internal stakeholders and customers by responding quickly and communicating clearly
• Apply and promote company policies, safety procedures and relevant legal requirements to ensure full compliance
• Work safely in line with GXO Health & Safety training, standards and procedures, and proactively contribute to a safer environment for colleagues and visitors
• Support initiatives that reduce our environmental impact (energy, water and fuel use, waste and emissions) and improve overall site performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, sharing ideas and helping implement better ways of working

What you’ll bring

• MBO Level 4 or HBO in Facility Management (or a comparable qualification/experience)
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar facilities/maintenance coordination role, ideally within Logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or another operational environment
• Technical knowledge with air conditioning units and/or electrical engineering is desirable - You don’t need to be a hands‑on engineer, but you should be comfortable coordinating technical maintenance topics, asking the right questions and working with specialist vendors
• Strong English communication skills are important; Dutch is a plus, but not essential
• Familiarity with LEAN ways of working in a warehouse or operational environment
