CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer in the Netherlands to perform general maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe and well‑maintained facility.

You will handle plumbing, painting, carpentry, and minor structural repairs while supporting building systems and life safety equipment. The role requires hands-on experience in handyman/maintenance, along with basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in handyman, building/facilities maintenance or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry and general repairs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform duties (standing, walking, stairs, lifting up to 23 kg).
• Relevant licenses or certifications may be required locally.

Mansioni

• Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility.
• Carry out basic plumbing repairs, painting, carpentry, and minor structural repairs.
• Complete repairs on building systems, furniture, doors, walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
• Assist with maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire and life safety systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections and report issues or defects.
• Ensure work is completed safely and per regulations.
• Handle materials safely and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with teammates, contractors, and customers to resolve facility issues.
• Support general site operations and other maintenance tasks.
