Job summary

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam invites an F&B trainee to join our five-star team in Amsterdam East. You will explore all aspects of F&B operations, work closely with the restaurant, and participate in dynamic trainings while supporting daily service.

This six-month internship offers hands-on experience, workshops, and the possibility of future opportunities within Hyatt. You will receive an internship allowance and enjoy benefits including a complimentary overnight stay, cocktails and dinner for two.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or tourism-related degree.
• Available for six months or longer.
• Hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic.
• Very communicative in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch institution).

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of all areas of F&B operations.
• Take on operational projects to improve efficiency.
• Work in a dynamic team and be involved in the restaurant; assist other F&B departments when needed.
• Collaborate with all operational departments to provide guests with what and who matters to them most.

Qualifications

• currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Tourism related degree;
• available for six months or longer ;

• hands-on, pro-active and enthusiastic;
• not afraid to make decisions;
• detail-oriented and approachable;
• very communicative in English and, preferably, in Dutch as well;
• legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch Institution (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications);
