We are currently looking for an Export Desk Representative to join our team. The Export Desk Representative is responsible for our global logistics services around IT projects and hardware contracts.

Your responsibilities

Supporting our sales and services teams in finding and facilitating the best solution to move IT hardware globally.

Managing the shipping process from start to finish.

Ensuring that communication, both internally and externally, is timely and accurate throughout all phases of the transport process.

Striving for continuous improvement in our work methods, processes, routes, and communication flows.

Requesting freight quotes from forwarders, couriers, and local agents to match the transport requirements provided by the sales team and/or client.

Researching the latest country regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements for various destination countries to ensure full compliance with international trade requirements.

Your day in the office

09:00 With a fresh cup of coffee in hand, you start the day by checking incoming emails about shipments. Since we work with partners all over the globe, messages continue to arrive overnight, keeping you instantly connected to what’s happening worldwide.

09:15 Time to attend the daily operations scrum. Together with colleagues from different departments, you set the priorities for the day to make sure shipments run smoothly.

10:00 You organize global transport by arranging pick-ups and booking international flights. Each shipment is like a puzzle, and you’re the one fitting the pieces together.

11:00 Managing our worldwide partner network keeps you busy: identifying new customs clearance contacts while also strengthening relationships with our existing partners. You’re the connector that keeps the global flow moving.

12:00 You enjoy a lovely buffet lunch while you try to master some of the 25+ different languages spoken by our coworkers when chatting with them. A quick walk outside will give you some new energy for the rest of the day.

13:00 Back at your desk, you track, record, and update transport information in our CRM. You also provide timely shipment status updates to everyone involved, ensuring all parties stay aligned.

13:30 You join the daily export desk team scrum to discuss and align on pending and active shipments. Teamwork makes the complex global flow a lot smoother.

15:00 The logistics world is ever-changing, and you thrive on it. You act on market changes, identify alternative routes, and create ad hoc solutions when challenges arise. Your quick thinking keeps goods moving no matter what.

16:00 You advise the sales teams on the best available routes, shipping costs, duties & taxes, and customs requirements, making sure every deal starts on the right track.

17:00 Wrap up the day! Before heading home, you join a fun workout in the company gym. We believe in working hard and having fun along the way, creating a supportive and fun working environment that you’ll love being a part of.

Your profile

You have between 2 and 4 years of relevant work experience as a logistics coordinator, project manager, operations representative, or other similar position involving administrative tasks.
