Job summary

CBRE Investment Management in Amsterdam seeks an Investment Analyst to join its European Direct Real Estate Transactions team. The role spans cross-border opportunities across industrial, residential, office, retail and alternatives, emphasising rigorous underwriting and AI-enabled insights for investment decisions.

You will develop asset-level financial models, analyse occupier and market data, and prepare Investment Committee materials.

Qualifications

A minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience in real estate investment.
Experience across multiple commercial property sectors preferred.
Understanding of investment structuring (equity, debt, fund vehicles).
High numeracy and analytical rigour with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead the financial underwriting of new acquisition opportunities across all commercial property sectors.
Build, own and refine asset-level financial models in Excel with stress-tested assumptions.
Structure deals factoring in equity, debt, tax and fund structuring to optimise investor returns.
Prepare and present investment appraisals and IC reports; assist with deal execution and reports.
Undertake buy/hold/sell analyses and track live deal pipelines.
