Job summary

CBRE Investment Management is seeking an analytically driven Investment Analyst based in Amsterdam to join its European Direct Real Estate Transactions team. The role spans industrial, residential, office, retail and alternatives, with exposure to cross-border deals and AI-enhanced workflows.

The successful candidate will underwrite new opportunities, build robust financial models, and support Investment Committee recommendations while developing tools that improve speed and depth of analysis.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months of relevant work experience in real estate investment or commercial property.
Experience across multiple commercial property sectors preferred.
CFA or RICS qualification or working toward it is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead financial underwriting of acquisition opportunities across sectors.
Build, own and refine asset-level financial models in Excel.
Analyze occupier, market, lease covenants and capex requirements.
Structure deals considering equity, debt, tax and fund mechanics.
Prepare Investment Committee materials and present analyses.
Develop and implement AI-driven analytical processes for market research and case studies.
Produce clear written outputs for senior leadership and IC reports.
