Job summary

GAC Motor Europe in Amsterdam is seeking a PR Manager to lead media relations, crisis management, and brand communications across Europe. You will build trusted relationships with mainstream automotive and business media, plan campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging in English and Chinese where relevant.

You will collaborate with headquarters and local partners, drive CSR initiatives, monitor public opinion, and manage communications crises with timely, strategic responses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of PR/media/crisis management experience.
• Automotive industry or European market experience preferred.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with mainstream automotive, financial and industry media across Europe.
• Plan and execute media campaigns, press releases, speeches and social content in English and Chinese.
• Coordinate with headquarters and local dealers to ensure PR strategy aligns with brand strategy.
• Lead CSR program planning and promote environmental and social topics of communication.
• Monitor public opinion in Europe, assess risks, and prepare crisis response plans to protect brand reputation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the company and leadership.
