Job summary

Chery Group in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Public Relations & Communications Manager to lead PR and corporate communications for the Dutch market. You will shape brand messaging, manage media relationships and support launches of Chery brands across Europe.

Reporting to headquarters, you will build strong relationships with national media, oversee crisis communications, events and influencer partnerships, while driving measurable improvements in brand visibility and reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications or Brand Communications.
• Experience in automotive industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience working in an international company or with global brands is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR and communications strategy to strengthen brand awareness and corporate reputation in the Dutch market.
• Build, develop and maintain relationships with national, regional and automotive media.
• Draft, edit and distribute press releases, speeches, media kits and newsletters.
• Coordinate product launches, media events and brand initiatives.
• Lead crisis communication planning and reputation management.
• Manage external PR agencies and partners; collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product and Headquarters.
