Job summary

CPS Case Packing Systems in the Netherlands is seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop Western and Northern Europe. You will build on existing relationships and actively create new opportunities, translating customer needs into turnkey packaging solutions.

You are entrepreneurial, communicative, and able to guide complex projects from initial contact to contract signing, closely coordinating with operations, engineering and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field is required.
• Experience in mechanical engineering or industrial automation, preferably in packaging.
• Experience with international project sales and consultative selling.
• Affinity with production processes and integrated technical solutions.
• Entrepreneurial, independent, and results‑oriented attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the commercial development of Western and Northern Europe.
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships and agent networks.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Advise customers on technically complex turnkey solutions.
• Manage the entire commercial process from initial contact through to contract signing.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop the best solution for each customer.
• Represent CPS during customer visits, trade fairs, and networking events.
• Travel internationally approximately 40% of the time.
