Job summary

Sungrow Europe is seeking a technically oriented Energy Storage System Technical Sales Manager to drive ESS projects across Europe from our Amsterdam base. You will coordinate electrical, mechanical, civil aspects and control schemes, and steer tendering, negotiations and project meetings to keep milestones on track.

The role requires knowledge of PV/ESS/EV charging products, plus fluency in English and Dutch, and the ability to work in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Studying a degree in electrical engineering, environmental science or renewable energy.
• Knowledge of the solar energy market in Europe.
• Understanding of solar energy energy products (PV, ESS and EV Charging).
• Fluency in English and Dutch (at least C1).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
• Visa permission to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• You'll assist in managing projects across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, civil and control scheme).
• You'll deliver suggestions for new ESS projects.
• Participate in meetings and discussions related to product lifecycle management, technical issue resolution, organize regular project meetings, and track open points.
• You'll assist in manage the tendering, negotiations, and selection of ESS plants.
