Job summary

FLASC, a Delft-based climate-tech company developing Hydro-Pneumatic Energy Storage (HPES), seeks an entrepreneurial Commercial Director to convert market opportunities into contracts. You will report to the CEO, lead the day-to-day pursuit, and steer the commercial pipeline from first contact through revenue.

Responsibilities include building the pipeline with developers, utilities and partners, shaping customer solutions, advancing opportunities, and representing FLASC at industry events.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track-record in B2B business development, technical sales or project development in energy, storage, offshore, power or industrial infrastructure.
• Engineering or energy background, or equivalent technical fluency.
• Clear and persuasive spoken and written English; Dutch proficiency required.
• Willing and able to travel regularly for customer meetings, partner engagement and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Build the pipeline and ecosystem with developers, asset owners, utilities, industrial sites, ports and partners.
• Shape customer solutions and communicate a compelling value proposition and business case.
• Advance opportunities from initial interest through feasibility, demonstration or first-of-a-kind projects, proposals and negotiations towards contracts.
• Inform strategy by feeding back customer needs, market signals and competition into management reviews.
• Represent FLASC at events, maintain pipeline records and forecasts.
