Job summary

ABB is expanding its Rotterdam-based EMEA Cash Management Center of Expertise and seeks a Treasury professional to manage liquidity, funding, and In-House Bank operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive cash-pool optimization, payments, and netting initiatives in a high-visibility role.

With 1–2 years treasury experience, you will monitor liquidity, support M&A payments, and contribute to a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Banking or Accounting.
• One to two years of treasury experience including currency exposure, cash management, risk management, and financial analysis.
• Background in liquidity management operations such as cash pools, in-house bank and intercompany netting.
• Fundamental understanding of payments infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Decide on adequate liquidity levels at country level and ensure timely execution of payment cycles.
• Manage liquidity needs for all EMEA region and holding entities, including restricted countries and non-pooled bank accounts.
• Oversee the global In-House Bank: payments, collections, receipts for ABB entities.
• Oversee cash pool management and participant monitoring; optimize In-House Bank framework.
• Regularly execute high-value transactions such as M&A closings, dividends, and capital injections.
