Job summary

Finom, a European fintech with Amsterdam roots, seeks a Senior Treasury Manager to own liquidity, safeguarding, and cross-entity funding. You will shape the investment policy, implement treasury systems, and liaise with regulators and asset managers to manage risk and reporting.

You will lead a hands-on treasury function at the intersection of regulation, liquidity, and commercial impact, driving automation and accuracy across NII forecasting and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in treasury or portfolio management in a regulated institution or asset manager.
• Experience with client money safeguarding under PSD2/EMD.
• Experience building or rebuilding a treasury function, not just operating in an existing one.
• Strong command of bond math, yield, duration, MMF mechanics, and credit/concentration risk at instrument level.
• Track record of automating manual treasury processes and implementing treasury or investment accounting systems.
• Comfortable working with position-level data directly and interrogating portfolio files.
• Experience with regulators, external audits, and external asset managers.

Responsibilities

• Daily liquidity positioning and funding across entities and accounts.
• Manage intraday funding, nostro accounts, and collateral obligations.
• Oversee safeguarding adequacy, instrument eligibility, and look-through reviews.
• Develop and monitor investment policy, limits, and governance logs.
• Partner with banks, custodians, and asset managers on terms and performance.
