Job summary

Huxley is seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist for a 9 month fixed-term contract in Amsterdam. The role covers 40 hours per week and focuses on supporting and driving EMEA social media activities across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on social media expertise, strong project management, and a track record of content planning, production, and campaign management within retail or consumer-facing brands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in content planning, creation and production.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive EMEA social media activities across multiple channels and markets.
• Manage always-on content initiatives with timely delivery and brand alignment.
• Coordinate social media support for product launches, lifestyle campaigns, events, and partnerships.
• Develop and maintain content calendars and publishing schedules.
• Oversee content production processes with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
• Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders to adapt campaigns across markets.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
