About the Role

Our client, a leading company within the consumer goods industry, is seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to support and drive EMEA social media activities. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of always on content, product launches, lifestyle campaigns, events, and partnership activations across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate is a hands on social media professional with strong project management capabilities, expertise in content planning and production, and experience managing campaigns across a complex stakeholder landscape. Previous experience within retail and/or consumer goods is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of EMEA social media activities across multiple channels and markets.
  • Manage always on content initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand objectives.
  • Coordinate social media support for product launches, lifestyle campaigns, events, and partnership activations.
  • Develop and maintain content calendars and publishing schedules.
  • Oversee content production processes, working closely with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Social Media Specialist, Social Media Executive, or similar role.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in content planning, content creation, and content production.
  • Experience managing social media campaigns across multiple markets and stakeholder groups.
  • Essential experience within retail, consumer goods, FMCG, or a consumer facing brand environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, channels, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams.
