Job summary

Delta Energy Systems seeks a Security Operations Engineer to own day-to-day operational security in the EMEA region within a young regional security team. You will collaborate with the Regional ISO and HQ Security to manage monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and compliance activities across corporate IT, plants and OT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
• 2–3 years in hands-on IT security operations, incident response or security engineering.
• Experience investigating incidents in Microsoft 365 / Entra ID and with EDR/XDR tools.
• Experience in multinational/multi-site organisations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Act as EMEA's operational point of contact for HQ Security and monitoring services; route alerts to system owners and ensure closure.
• Use SIEM/EDR/XDR and M365/Entra ID to investigate suspicious activity in EMEA.
• Identify detection gaps and define use cases and tuning requirements for central platforms.
• Lead end-to-end security incidents with coordination with HQ Security, IT Operations and business.
• Build and maintain incident response runbooks for common EMEA scenarios.
