Job summary

Delta-Electronics is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to own day-to-day operational security for the EMEA region. You will join a developing regional security team, collaborate with HQ Security, and drive incident response, vulnerability management and governance across corporate IT, plants and OT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in hands-on IT security operations, incident response or security engineering.
• Experience with MS 365/Entra ID and EDR/XDR tools.
• Multi-site or multinational exposure, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Act as regional security operations contact for HQ Security and triage alerts to owners.
• Investigate suspicious activity using SIEM/EDR tools and follow through to closure.
• Develop incident runbooks and manage end-to-end containment and reporting.
• Lead vulnerability management cycles and coordinate external pen tests.
• Review changes for security impact and support network/firewall/VPN design validation.
• Contribute to ISMS, audits (ISO 27001/NIS2) and customer security questionnaires.
• Provide technical input for regulatory notifications and incident reports.
