Job summary

Delta Electronics EMEA is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to own day-to-day operational security for the EMEA region. You will join a regional IS function and work with HQ Security on governance, risk and compliance across IT and OT environments.

You will build and mature security processes, not run a full SOC, with incident response driven by quick actions in production windows and collaboration with regional and HQ teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years hands-on IT security operations, IR or security engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft 365/Ent ra ID and EDR/XDR tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Security monitoring and triage for EMEA, using SIEM/EDR/Office 365 tools.
• Incident response end-to-end: assessment, containment, evidence collection and reporting.
• Vulnerability management: scans, risk-based prioritization, remediation follow-up.
• Security architecture reviews and change reviews with HQ Security and IT Ops.
• Policies, compliance and audits support (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR).
• Awareness activities (phishing simulations, guidance for staff).
