Job summary

Delta Electronics EMEA is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, implement and govern health and safety programmes across its operations in the EMEA region. The role ensures compliance with legislation, drives continuous safety improvements, and builds a strong safety culture within service, project, engineering and operational teams.

Reports to the EMEA Service Director and serves as regional authority on governance, risk, and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in health and safety management in multi-country environments.
• Strong knowledge of European legislation and regional frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead incident prevention, risk management and compliance programs.
• Experience supporting field service, installation, commissioning, or project-based operations.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish health and safety governance frameworks and procedures across countries.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and practices.
• Represent EHS in regional leadership forums and global discussions.
• Lead risk assessments and hazard mitigation, audits, inspections and reviews.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure safe execution of installation, commissioning, maintenance and field service activities.
• Develop and deliver training programmes and competency frameworks.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership and coaching.
• Maintain dashboards, KPIs, and regional reporting for management.
• Engage with external stakeholders and support customer audits and contractual obligations.
