Samsara is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to join the Security Operations Team in the Netherlands. You will monitor events, lead incidents as Incident Commander, and drive forensics investigations while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and IT.

You will build automation, runbooks, and playbooks; mentor engineers; and work on incidents across macOS, Windows, and Linux in a globally distributed environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Security Incident Response.
• Ability to communicate investigative findings to technical staff and leadership.
• Ability to build scripts/tools to support investigations (Python).
• Mentor and train security operation engineers.
• Lead during security incidents and coordinate cross-teams.
• Understanding of forensics techniques across macOS, Windows, Linux.
• Experience with cloud architecture and security (AWS, GCP).
• Participation in on-call rotation with potential after-hours work.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts.
• Lead information security incidents and investigations; coordinate incident closure.
• Deliver security guidance for incident response and insider threat initiatives.
• Coordinate services, capabilities, and implementations to support security operations.
• Contribute to company-wide security initiatives and process improvements.
