Job summary

RB Global (Ritchie Bros.) is seeking an EMEA Sales Director to lead regional sales management across major sites, satellite operations, and additional business units. You will drive multi-channel strategies and ensure consistent customer experiences across EMEA.

You will work with the International Sales leadership to deliver growth, coach Regional Sales Managers, and build high‑performing teams while aligning with RB Global’s strategic priorities and values.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing or directing field operations teams across diverse regions or countries.
• Proven success in leading operational initiatives and developing growth-focused business plans.
• Strong business acumen in operations, processes, management, and budgeting.
• Proven leadership with coaching and development of high-potential teams.
• Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building abilities.
• Experience working in collaborative, team-focused environments.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the EMEA region.
• Flexible with hours, including weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual financial and operational targets for the EMEA group.
• Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with RB Global's priorities.
• Drive end-to-end deal management with sales teams to optimize pipeline and win rates.
• Review and approve annual plans for all regional sites, ensuring consistency.
• Monitor ASCS in partnership with Regional Operations Managers and finance teams.
• Evaluate KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance.
• Ensure consistent high-quality auction experiences across all EMEA locations.
• Lead multi-channel initiatives including timed auctions and online events.
• Provide leadership and development for Regional Sales Managers and staff.
• Mentor teams and delegate effectively to build capabilities.
• Maintain visibility and engage with key customers and partners during major events.
• Represent RB Global within the broader business community and internally.
• Champion safety and accountability across regional operations.
