Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Project Manager to lead turn-key EPC battery energy storage projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and safe execution. This role reports to the Head of Projects, UK & Ireland, and requires autonomy in a matrix and virtual environment with multiple stakeholders.

Required are a technical degree, 5 years in project/construction within power, English & French proficiency, and a PMP/IPMA certification. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or other technical discipline.
• Combined 5 years' experience in project management, construction management, or engineering within the power generation market.
• Business level English & French language skills are a necessity.
• Minimum 3 years P&L responsibility delivering equipment supply or turn-key projects.
• Over one-year experience managing subcontractor contracts.
• Has managed a matrix project organization comprised of 6+ functions.
• Valid Senior Project Management certification (e.g. PMI PgMP, IPMA Level B).

Responsibilities

• Lead turn-key EPC battery energy storage projects through delivery, from contract execution through to successful handover to operations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, people allocation, and safety/quality plans across projects at various stages of life.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, to code, on time, on budget, and to customer satisfaction in conformance with ISO 9001.
• Proactively collaborate with finance, engineering, procurement, and other functional groups.
• Coordinate with EPC, Equipment Delivery and other partners through the Project Delivery phase.
