Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the engineering execution of EPC turnkey projects across the EMEA region, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting contractual, technical, and quality requirements. The role interfaces with internal teams, external partners, procurement, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Additional certifications or specialized training are advantageous.
5+ years designing and executing utility-scale power or BESS projects in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements and regional/regulatory standards.
Lead design reviews and promote value engineering to improve efficiency and constructability.
Coordinate procurement activities and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals.
Take full technical responsibility for EPC turnkey projects including HV systems.
Travel within the EMEA region to support execution and stakeholder engagement.
