People 2.0 invites a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our EMEA Payroll and Billing Team in Amsterdam. The role focuses on day-to-day payroll operations across assigned countries, ensuring compliance and high customer satisfaction.

You will process payroll, handle inquiries, and stay updated on local regulations in a fast-paced, global environment. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at our Amsterdam office twice a week, with opportunities for growth and access to top-tier payroll

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Dutch payroll administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and billing for all employees.
• Oversee calculation and verification of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Maintain payroll systems, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary contact for resolving complex payroll inquiries and escalated issues from both clients and employees.
• Research and advise on country-specific employment legislation and worker benefits.
• Conduct regular payroll and billing audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain policies, provide team training, and support compliance with accounting principles and legislation updates.
