Job summary

ARC’TERYX in Amsterdam seeks a Manager, Merchandise Planning - EMEA to own the regional merchandise financial plan across DTC and Wholesale. Translate targets into sales, margin and inventory strategies while guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, growth-focused business.

You will lead a high-performing MFP function, drive planning maturity, and participate in S&OP/IBP forums, shaping governance and ensuring inventory targets support revenue and margin objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8+ years in Merchandise Financial Planning, Financial Planning, or Demand Planning.
• Experience planning across multiple channels in DTC/omnichannel retail.
• Deep understanding of OTB, sales, margin and IMU planning, inventory turns, markdowns.
• Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning to inform decisions.
• Executive presentation skills to senior stakeholders.
• Proven people management with a track record of building teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate targets into regional Merchandise Financial Plans for DTC and Wholesale.
• Lead cross-channel planning balancing DTC and Wholesale needs while optimizing regional inventory.
• Monitor in-season performance; identify risks and adjust forecasts and investments.
• Develop business reporting tools and publish KPI reports.
• Lead prioritization and trade-off discussions when resources must be allocated.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses (teardowns) by product category and season.
• Represent MFP in S&OP/IBP forums, align with demand and supply constraints.
• Drive integrated planning across Demand, Inventory, and Allocation, balancing revenue, margin, and working capital.
• Establish planning cadence and governance to ensure consistency regionally.
• Manage, coach, and develop the regional MFP team with clear objectives.
