Job summary

Illumina in Eindhoven is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to be the primary contact for customers across EMEA, handling orders for sequencing and genotyping instruments, reagents and service contracts.

Based at our EMEA distribution centre in Eindhoven, you’ll combine great customer care with accuracy, problem-solving and collaboration. And because we believe every role has the opportunity to make a difference, you’ll see how the work you do connects to a much bigger purpose.

Qualifications

• Fluent English; another European language is valuable, with German a plus but not essential.
• Experience of previously working within a customer support role.
• Strong communication and customer care skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• A solution-focused, adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Process high-value customer orders efficiently and accurately, reviewing customer specifications and terms.
• Respond to customer enquiries and identify suitable solutions.
• Keep customers informed about order status, delivery dates, product availability and pricing.
• Partner with Technical Support, Quotes, Finance, Sales and Field Service & Support to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve how we work and safeguard best practice.
• Support additional priorities as needed.
