Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience leading EHS initiatives in manufacturing or chemical environments.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Experience implementing EHS management systems and compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the site EHS Management System.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security regulations.
• Develop local EHS strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Drive a proactive safety culture with site leadership.
• Manage EHS programs, audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor EHS metrics, scorecards, and KPI reporting.
• Deliver EHS training and emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate with Process Safety Managers to meet process safety requirements.
• Manage EHS budgets and engage regulatory authorities.
