Job summary

G2 are currently looking for an EHS Officer to join on a permanent basis near Maastricht, Netherlands (Limburg). The role focuses on safety for a chemical manufacturing plant and requires English and Dutch language proficiency to coordinate with global sites.

The successful candidate will manage HSE/HSEQ systems, advise on safety practices across operations, and support international safety procedures with occasional travel to Belgium. Start is in September 2026 onwards.

Qualifications

• EHS technical background required.
• Certifications such as IVK, MVK, PA2, NEBOSH or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in chemical/manufacturing environments advantageous.
• Knowledge of HSE/QMS management systems is essential.
• Understanding of behaviour-based safety practices is important.

Responsibilities

• Advise on health, safety and environmental issues for operations and maintenance staff on site.
• Help implement and uphold international safety procedures across sites.
• Collaborate with local teams while coordinating with global safety colleagues; travel to Belgium when required.
• Manage safety compliance on a chemical manufacturing site and support continuous improvement.
